Who am I?
I am a warm, empathetic and supportive therapist based in Ramsgate, Kent.
I’m a BACP accredited integrative therapist, which means I have trained in many therapeutic approaches. I am therefore holding many different ways of working with you, rather than trying to fit you into one model. I trained in this way because I believe each of us is unique, and there is no one way of working therapeutically. My integration includes existential therapy, body psychotherapy, relational therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
I trained at The Minster Centre, one of the UK’s leading psychotherapy training centres, on a five-year course. I have several years of experience as a therapist, both in a private setting and in services. I have worked in a hospice providing bereavement counselling and in a university as a therapist for students, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ students.
Prior to training as a therapist, my background was in community organising, charity management, and arts management. I have a MA in Social Anthropology from Edinburgh University. I also completed a self-led Masters on spiritual formation through social justice and community organising.
